Scanning Software That is Easy to Use

When I retired, I had a lot of projects that I wanted to get started on. I know some people think they are going to be bored in retirement, but I had a feeling I was going to be busier than ever, finally being able to do the things that I wanted to do for a while now. One of the first things on my list was to find a photo scanning software program that would help me to finally get all of my photo prints onto my computer. I have no idea how many I have, but I am guessing it is over 10,000 altogether.

I knew that there was a real danger of the prints getting extremely damaged if I did not digitally convert them. The paper that they are printed on is just not able to stand up to the test of time, which is why time really was of the essence in getting them transferred as quickly as possible. Some of them were already faded, but I was hopeful that I would be able to edit them once I got them all transferred to my computer.

I looked at a few different scanning programs, but there was only one that really held my interest. Not only was the price right, but it also had all of the features that appealed to me. I had written on a lot of the photos so I would be able to identify who was in the picture, where it was taken, and when it was taken too. This scanning software that I ended up getting also stores any handwritten notes with the scanned image, which was perfect for me. It was super easy to use too, and it did not take me nearly as long to get all of my photos on my computer using it.
